Scope
IWC was hired to complete the upgrades to the existing Pump Station including new valve chambers and tie-ins to existing services in the foreshore.
Summary
IWC was tasked with completing a major upgrade for the District of Nanaimo for the Hall Road Sewage Project. Working with high tides and water elements required the IWC team to communicate and plan every step of the project. The team worked around the clock and on night shift to accommodate the tidal schedule for the excavation and utility work. Working in tight areas and with limited approach required the team to be creative and innovative. The term of the project lasted 3 Months and IWC delivered on the project as the General Contractor.
